Ingredients of a journey to true purpose
Part 2. Change
MY JOURNEY THROUGH CHANGE
Being in my shoes means that my curious mind constantly goes wandering in a quest for new challenges.
If this means moving to another country with 2 suitcases for 2 years not knowing I’ll end up in 2 others for 10 more and to close the circle with coming back to homeland with my life in twenty-something boxes, plenty of rich adventures and much more in my spirit. So be it!
What we can say is that I made friends with #change early on.
ADAPTABILITY AND LOVE OF CHANGE
This quest for new challenges first brought me closer to more people-focused front office business roles. I was moving horizontally from back-office through sales & marketing to project management.
The real breakthrough, however, was when I set foot on the path of people development.
OK, so I am in the right direction with people focus, but how do I transform my experience to skills to serve my clients?
I always found it attractive to be able to work on different projects. With my clients today I can make use of the strong adaptability that I developed while working across industries, countries and multinational to start-up environments. It allows me to easily put myself in their shoes and feeling content when supporting them.
Having people focus to me means that I find my true drive when I can motivate, brainstorm with, and challenge others. I believe in #collectiveintelligence. I enjoy seeing others succeed and find their own answers.
Today I put my focus on the individual.
As a big fan of innovation and personal development, I live by the principle of #lifelonglearning. This is the dynamic that I convey to others in my coaching practice. Be it learning about themselves or others.
When taking the journey through #change what is the next challenge where you will leave your comfort zone and tap into your learning zone?
Coaching is a journey that can change your destination.
Invite yourself on a journey to find out what freedom is for you!
